Sunderland manager David Moyes is also bottom of the Premier League managers’ private FPL league, according to leaked reports earlier today.
The former Everton and Man Utd boss has seen his dismal Sunderland side relegated from the Premier League, and it appears his Fantasy Premier League side, Real So’sYourMum, aren’t fairing much better either.
An unnamed managerial source told a Daily FFB reporter today:
“Moyesie has struggled in both aspects of management this season, as Real So’sYourMum are actually doing equally as badly as Sunderland.”
“I’d given him some friendly advice earlier in the season that signing washed up, permanently injured, former Everton players probably wasn’t the best way to invest his £100m FPL budget, however he just looked at me with the ‘have you ever finished 6th, 6th, 5th and 7th in consecutive seasons?’ look”.
“He had the opportunity to try reviving the situation somewhat in January when we all got another wildcard. I told him not to jizz it away like he did with his first one in gameweek 2 but instead he insisted on signing Joleon Lescott, Bryan Oviedo and frigging Darron Gibson!”
“When we were sat in Starbucks a little later that week, he even looked at me and said “what do you think about Anichebe for captain this week?”… I think he was being serious too because Sunderland were at home to Burnley that weekend.”
“Is there a Fantasy Championship?”
